London Stays

After the Brexit Referendum on the 23 of June 2016 which saw the victory of the leaving supporters with 51,9% on the remain voters with 48,1% protests started raising in the english capital. Jesica Rogers, 23, set up the first rally in Trafalgar Square on Tuesday 28th, but because the Trafalgar Square’s safe limit was exceeded with over 50,000 people expected to attend, the event had to be canceled. Nevertheless, crowds of people turned up, included  the leader of Democratic party Tim Farron, to stand together to stay in Europe and to ask for the referendum to be nullified, especially after the UKIP leader and Leave Campaign supporter Nigel Farage backtracked on the £350m promised to go to NHS. This was declared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain program, the same morning of the referendum results.
